Free Shipping: For all U.S. orders over $75.

Flat Rate Shipping: $5.95 for all U.S. orders under $75.
Standard domestic orders are shipped via USPS or UPS and are processed within 1–2 business days of purchase. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Disclaimer: USPS and UPS are responsible for lost packages. Please contact the carrier directly for any claims. Proper is not responsible for delays, stolen or damaged packages, or orders submitted with incorrect delivery information.

At Proper, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't quite right, we’re here to help!
Return Eligibility & Timeline

0–15 Days from delivery: Eligible for a Full Refund to the original payment method.

16–30 Days from delivery: Eligible for Store Credit only.

31+ Days: Final Sale; no returns or exchanges accepted.
To be eligible, items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached. Items with makeup marks, stains, or signs of wear will be ineligible. If an ineligible item is sent back, the buyer will be responsible for the shipping cost to have the item returned to them.
Final Sale Items

Sale Items, Cosmetics, and Intimates are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Return Shipping Options

Use our Prepaid Label ($7.95): Start your return in our Customer Portal to receive a prepaid shipping label. A flat fee of $7.95 will be deducted from your final refund/credit.

Use Your Own Carrier: You may ship returns back at your own expense to the address below. We recommend using a trackable service.

In-Person Returns: Online returns are accepted in person at our Downtown Fargo boutique (313 Broadway N).
Refunds and Processing
Once we receive and inspect your items, we will issue your refund or store credit. Please allow 2–10 business days for processing. Note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exchanges
For a quick exchange, we recommend placing a new order for your desired item and returning the original item for a refund within the policy timeline.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us at hello@proper-shops.com within 7 days of receipt with photos and a description of the issue. We’ll ensure you receive a replacement as quickly as possible.
OUTSIDE OUR POLICY? Returns sent back past the 30-day window, or in unsellable condition (makeup stains, odors, or tags removed), will not be accepted. We will reach out with an invoice for the return shipping to get the items back to you.
